This November, I am delighted to be performing one of Mozart’s most famous piano concertos. This concert is with the Edwards Ensemble conducted by Nigel Edwards.
The second movement of the concerto, a dream-like meditation, is well known because it was used in “Elvira Madigan”. The film explores the relationship between a famous Danish circus performer and an army lieutenant. (It does not have a happy ending!)
Here is an example from the film on YouTube.
The concert will also include a performance of Mozart’s Requiem with Fordingbridge Choral Society.
